If you’ve been wondering what the old Fender Bender rhythm section is doing now - Here’s the scoop. Dave Hawk and Dave Foote are teaming up with veteran bass player Randy George to form a new band they’re calling “HotFoot Harry”. OK, some of you are thinking... “are they going to have a drummer and 2 bass players?” No, what some of you might not realize is that Dave Hawk has been a guitar player for 30 years. Actually, the first and only band he ever played bass for was the Fender Benders. If you’ve followed Pork's career before he went solo, you remember Dave as the keyboard / guitar player alongside Pork during the hay-day of 4 on the Floor in the late 90s. Switching back to guitar will free Dave up to sing a lot more, and you can look forward to “Footie” taking the lead vocal more often too! In addition to his incredible voice, Dave Foote will still add his amazing talent on the drums and his upbeat attitude to the show. And the addition of a versatile bass player like Randy solidifies the rhythm section and brings another great voice to the mix. HotFoot Harry plans to be true to the Fender Bender’s mold by offering a spontaneous mixture of rock, blues, and R&B that will keep the crowd either on the edge of their seats or all over the dance floor. For the details of when and where you can see them- STAY TUNED |
